Sara Goldenthal

Maine native Sara Goldenthal is a professional photographer, animal behaviorist and nature lover. Her work has appeared in numerous periodicals, including The Sun, and is represented by stock agency Aurora Photos. Recently, she has done a series of photos of shelter cats and dogs living at the Animal Refuge League. The photos appear each month in The Bollard.

This summer, she became enchanted by flowers growing in gardens in the West End of Portland. The photos you see here are some results of that enchantment.
